Washington D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Ted Budd (NC-13) released the following statement after the House passed the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement:

“I’m thrilled that the USMCA has finally passed the House. This landmark trade deal will generate a whole host of benefits including growing the economy by tens of billions of dollars, supporting hundreds of thousands of American jobs, and giving farmers more access to sell their products beyond our borders. As I mentioned in my Wall Street Journal op-ed, passage of the USMCA means a lot more than politics. It gives America’s farm country an opportunity to pass on their life’s work to future generations.”

  • Rep. Budd was a member of the USMCA Whip Team in the House and has worked to get the agreement passed for more than a year.
