U.S. Representative Ted Budd (R-NC) announced Sabrina Schwartzberg as the 2017 Congressional Art Competition first place winner. Ms. Schwartzberg, a senior from the American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, will have her photo displayed in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

“I am happy to announce Sabrina Schwartzberg as the Congressional Art Competition winner from North Carolina’s thirteenth district,” said Representative Budd.  "We had many great submissions and we are very thankful to everyone who participated in sharing their creativity. Her artwork of colorful umbrellas above a Jerusalem street will hang next to hundreds of other submissions in the hallway of the U.S. Capitol.”

The winner of the 2017 Congressional Art Competition will be invited to attend a reception in Washington D.C.
