WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Representative Ted Budd (R-NC) introduced House Joint Resolution 139 to honor Reverend Billy Graham and his legacy.  The resolution has 54 original cosponsors, including the entire North Carolina Republican delegation.

“The Rev. Billy Graham is the first private citizen from North Carolina to to lie in honor in the United States Capitol.  There could be no more fitting tribute to one of the greatest North Carolinians ever to live, a man who preached the Gospel to more than 200 million people.  This resolution is part and parcel of our efforts in Congress and across the state to recognize his legacy.”
