Washington, D.C. – Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has signed onto an amicus brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Feds for Medical Freedom v. Biden. The brief opposes the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate on more than 2 million federal workers and contractors. The brief was led by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Mike Johnson (R-LA). Read the full text of the amicus brief HERE Rep. Budd said in a statement: “President Biden’s vaccine mandates are unconstitutional and wrong. Every American should have the freedom to decide for themselves whether or not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. I’m proud to join my colleagues to urge the Court to uphold the rights of over 2 million federal workers and contractors.” |
