Rep. Ted Budd Celebrates National Bible Week on House Floor

Washington, D.C. -- Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) delivered a speech on the House floor in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of National Bible Week. 

National Bible Week was established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941, just weeks before the attacks on Pearl Harbor. Every year, millions of Americans take this week to celebrate and recognize the spiritual and historical significance of the Bible.
